Being Part 1

God's Garden

Several years ago, I was blessed by a dear friend who taught me so much about life. He has since moved on in his journey. I will be using teachings he passed on to me when I was looking for spiritual direction.

In this life, Yeshua Jesus encourages me to pass it on; the messages, the inspiration and his teachings via the power of the Holy Shekinah Spirit.

Here is the 1st Lesson in Being:

“If you wanted to pick yourself up and move from one room to another, would it be an obstruction? No, it would be honoring and being who you are.”

We reside in a human body with a mind that will ‘nag’ at us. The old lines, “I’m not good enough or smart enough” is not truth.

Our quest in life is to find that truth in the midst of the Christ Consciousness that dwells within via the Shekinah Spirit and be.

Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life (Light).” Which way are you going? Are you being?

I dedicate this teaching series, Being, to my friend’s Lynn & D’hartma who are somewhere in the mansions of heaven!

Reflect:

“Dear God, I praise You for the abundant grace that flows from You into my heart every time I trust in You. It is blessing beyond measure. Nothing else could ever keep me from fear and anxiety. Nothing less could ever bring growth and fruitfulness in the midst of threatening circumstances. You are my hope day by day, Amen.”

Into Flight Part 4

Preparation

In May of 2010, I had a bird family move into my recycled plastic bags in my front garden area. It was strange.  God was sending me a message. I needed to pay attention.

I watched the parents build a nest in the bags; meticulous and persistent, bringing in twigs and such. Soon there were eggs and then baby birds.

The parents were vigilant caring for the little ones, just as God cares for us; providing all of our needs and some of our wants.

Soon, the babies grew up. They began to take flight and leave the nest one by one.

There was one little guy left behind; struggling and squawking, needing extra support.  A day later, the little guy took off.

Getting Ready to Take Off

There will come a time in one’s life that we may be embarking on a new journey or leaving behind that which does not work or serve any universal purpose. When this happens, God will provide the assistance, time and place to get us “Into Flight.”

Happy Sunday!

Into Flight Part 2

“I have so much for you. You will not be able to contain it!”

We are so busy in our daily lives. We forget the possibilities that abound us and the good God has in store for us.

I am encouraging you to change your way of thinking? Why?

God has opened the “Windows of Heaven.”

Here is God’s promise taken from Malachi 3: “I will open the windows of heaven and pour out on you in abundance all kinds of good things.” He never rescinds on his promises.

This morning, after my “Share Time” with Yeshua Jesus and breaking bread during the “Meal that Heals”, I was given this vision:

I was standing under a waterfall on the side of a mountain. The water was pouring over me, encompassing my being; a representation of ‘God’s Blessings’ being poured forth from the “Windows of Heaven.”

I looked down and there were other waterfalls below.  I watched the water pour out, as a never ending cycle of God’s Love.

Don’t block the blessings!

“That which is opened cannot be closed.”

I found this great photo by Claude Piche and it is a perfect snap shot of my vision. God is good!

Into Flight Part 1

“Bringing in the Light!”*

Recently, we discussed the” Flowing Light” with the windows of heaven opening; pouring forth one of the many blessings God wants us to have.

Now we go one step further, “Into Flight.”

In order to get “Into Flight” we have some foundation work to do before taking off.

First, accept the blessing that fell out of heaven’s window. It gives one an opportunity to “Bring in the Light.” Wrap it around you like a comfy blanket. It is, in fact, God’s armor! Don’t leave home without it!

Remember, “Putting on the whole armor of God means we do not ignore the warning signs of stress, where weak links in our protective covering begin to crack under pressure.”*

Ponder this message and I will see you on Sunday for Part 2 of “Into Flight!”

“God has created everything we need in the spiritual realm; waiting for us to call what we need from the spiritual realm into the natural realm.” **

Flowing Light

HolySpiritCloudsWeb3S4

In my Light is my Love for you and the hope I have for you!

God said, “Put me to the test and you will see that I will open the windows of heaven and pour out on you; in abundance all kinds of good things.” (Mal. 3) One of these “good things” is the Light.

The Light flows in and around those who believe; penetrating any barrier of darkness.

During the transfiguration, with his friends looking on, “A change came over Jesus. His face was shining like the sun and his clothes were dazzling white.” (Mt. 17)

Jesus said, “I am the Light of the World.” Come and bask in the reflection of my Light!

“Never let the Light extinguish. Keep it blazing in your heart!”

The Lord is My Light

Weeki Wachee Springs

“He hides me in his shelter when there is trouble.” (Ps.27)

Last week, while in prayer; the Taize Chant, “The Lord is My Light” popped into my head. God shows up in a whisper or a song, when I need it most.

The same day, I pulled one of my books off the shelf and randomly opened a page. On the page was a quote taken from Psalm 27, “The Lord is My Light and Salvation; Whom Shall I fear?” This was my 2nd confirmation that this Psalm deserved a second look.

When blessings come, I can pay attention; embrace the message that God has my back or retreat into the darkness of whatever challenge is knocking at my door.

Have courage, this is no time to recoil. Remember, “The Lord is My Light, My Life and My Salvation!”

Pause & Reflect:

The Lord is My Light

God’s Business

“I must be where my Father’s work is.” (Lk.2)

Jesus described his work as “being about my Father’s business.” What was he referring to? He was focusing on the work he was sent to do.

Christ said, “With the bigger picture in front and before me, I knew time was short and life was closing in around me. I had to look beyond the trivial and make a decision and stick to it; regardless of which way the wind of the world was blowing.”

The Work:

When called to do the work there are two choices to consider:

Will you be about God’s business or will you be about the world’s business?

If you choose the latter, you will stumble along the way and waste precious time on nothing.

Christ encourages us to not squander our peace regardless of the circumstances.

Reflection: “Am I doing the will of the one who sent me in order to finish His work?” (Jn. 4)
