Interrupting the Flow!

“I am in the details.”

Delay is sometimes necessary and not welcomed in our instant world.

God may give you a spiritual pause; without a word or inspiration, just as Jesus experienced in the wilderness.

We are linked to others via our surroundings or experiences. There is a desire to have a “right now” solution or answer to a prayer, etc.

We may want to intercede or interfere due to a “preconceived bias” with those whom God is lifting up to a different level, which is beyond one’s sight.

Delay is an opportunity for God to work it all out, so we can walk it out; abiding with God.

“I have a plan and a purpose for your life.”

Pressing On

“Follow the path designed by God, inspired by the Spirit.”*

Rely on my inspiration and leading; nothing is impossible for me.

I am at every curve and turn, “I am pressing on; not that I have already attained or perfected.” Follow each and every step.

“Along this great walk of life, one may veer off the spiritual path. It’s OK. At anytime during the journey, be willing to retrace your steps.”*

Pay attention to the road along the way. Embrace the beauty of your world, wherever you are and be.

“Lead them in the way they are to go.”

On the Road

This journey we are on and season we are in, is very important!

We cannot bring God’s vision to fruition through our own human efforts such as reasoning or thinking. One must live under the direct inspiration of the vision, with the help of the Holy Shekinah Spirit until the truth is revealed, “The truth shall set you free.”

The road ahead will have its setbacks, but don’t waiver. My road is still your road!

Hidden Gems Week 2

He makes the deserts of our soul blossom in the light of springtime.” (Br. Roger)

We all experience periods of dryness in our lives when it appears there is no movement (on the outside) or the path may be unsettling; “Even when he is rejected, he never refuses to remain alongside of us.”

The way to live a victorious life, is to keep the eyes of one’s Spirit open to the risen Christ; “We are more than conquerors through him.”

We persevere in the way of holiness; though our eyes cannot see, but one’s heart and Spirit can get set free.

God is encouraging us to discover or rediscover him once again!

“We are super victors with a joy that comes from experiencing the very things which look as if they are going to overwhelm us.” (Utmost, Mar. 7)

Walls

“Peace be within your walls.” (Ps. 122)

There is a whisper from within, breaking down the walls of indifference or intolerance; intolerance towards self or another.

Walls keep negativity in, not as a sign of protection but rather as a sign of rejection.

How high is your wall? What are you resisting? Like a city that is broken down and without walls is a man whose spirit is without restraint. (Prov. 25:28)

Nameless, faceless, misunderstood desire masks as a wall that blocks out the Light of God’s Spirit.

Will you take life one-day-at-a-time; brick by brick, moment by moment or will you knock it down all at once?

The house of your Spirit is fashioned brick by brick. It is in understanding and acceptance that the wall can come down piece by piece.

We enter into a new season; step into it gently with conviction and purpose. God has a plan.

“By faith, the walls of Jericho fell down.” (Heb. 11)

In the Presence

“Surely the Presence of the Lord is in this place”*

“Surely the Presence of the Lord” is a tune we chant as an opening meditation during our Gathering of Friends; a time to get centered, quiet and prepare to be “In Christ’s Presence.”

We all want to feel as though we stand in the precious Presence of God, especially when life is a bit difficult or we are distracted from our spiritual connection.

Those who walked with Christ before and after the resurrection had the privilege to bask in his presence. We can still be in His Presence.

Today, “the power of the Holy Spirit moves us into Christ’s presence. It’s not the power that comes from a light switch being turned on. It is a super natural power that comes from on-high to awaken our Spirit; becoming all that God wants us to be, and more.”**

“We have courage in God’s presence because we are sure he hears us if we ask for anything.” (1Jn. 5)

The Light – Part 4

A Continuum of Hope…

“Thank You for My Healing, Bringing in the Light.”*

Jesus is the Light; the aura of heaven, “The fountain of life flows from you.” (Ps. 36:9)

All beings on the earth have a flicker within. Some choose to remain in the shadow. When the Light is not tended to, it diminishes.

The Lesson in Life is, “Even if you seem to have very little faith, will you prepare yourself to welcome a Gospel of Light?”**

There is no space or place the Light of Christ cannot reach, even into the depth of one’s heart and soul, “The people who sat in darkness have seen a great Light.”(Mt. 4:16)

With the Power of the Spirit, the Light moves quietly in and around us, as we steer the rudder of hope through prayer.

“In my Light is the reflection of Love; my Love for you and the hope I have for you. Never let the Light extinguish, keep it blazing in your heart.”
