Abide in the Silence

“From the depth of understanding; we pause, pray and be.”

In being, we also receive. The key is to keep on hoping, even when we fade a bit.

God’s Action:

We are pieces on a chessboard to be moved at a very specific time and place. Everything that happens in God’s world does so at a precise moment; flowing in rhythm with the universe and His divine plan. We cannot move any faster or sooner than what’s required.

The other day while at the beach, I was enjoying the silence of my surroundings.  I stepped into the water. I  found I was not alone. A small family of fish swam around me, keeping their own tempo. I made sure to remain as still as possible. When I did not move, the group came closer.

Our Part:

It is the same with God. We take one step towards God and He comes closer.

In times of challenge we must first enter into the silence; ask and listen while remaining still.

“I abide and breathe in God’s presence, in hope of a new beginning.”

Persist and Insist

“Persistence will be enough to make him get up and give his friend all he wants.”

Is it bread or is it something more; something deeper you seek?

Have courage and faith; persist and insist, “Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Ps 30:5)

Wipe away all confusion and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.

For the one who asks, always receives; Ask and it will be given to you; all of it!

The one who ‘asks’ will have an open door to pass through. Be persistent in prayer, do not stop praying.

Pray in awe of the Spirit at all times and on every occasion, “Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” (Eph. 8)

Patience and perseverance overcome the greatest difficulties.

“Your heavenly Father will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask.”

God’s Light of Life

“Prayer transforms lives. Let’s get busy!”*

One cannot store up treasures on earth and not share them with another. Your treasures are the spoken word via prayer. It is through compassion and understanding that you will reach others.
One must be ready for spiritual planting, harvesting and survival. The words or spoken word-THE WORD are most important, “As the rain and snow come down from the sky and do not return until the earth is watered and fertile; so it goes with THE WORD that goes out from my mouth. It will not return to me void until it has achieved its purpose.”(Is.50)
Don’t let God’s Light of Life return to you empty!

“Remember these words for they are the Light of Life.” (PAZ)

A Spirit of Hope

“One who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because the Shekinah Spirit makes intercession for the saints according to God.”

We are saved in hope and the Spirit helps us with our own shortcomings or weaknesses.

Life happens and we find ourselves not knowing how to pray. We call upon those we trust; asking for the power of God’s intercession to come forth.

The Shekinah Spirit steps in to intercede for us, in a supernatural language that we connect with in a state of prayer.

As Prayer Warriors, we stand in the gap, in a Spirit of Hope, with God’s angels and saints to intercede on one’s behalf, permitting heaven to have its way.

“Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I stand in the midst of them.

Prayer Warriors – Intercessors

The one who prays imparts understanding.”*

In Heaven

The Prayer Warriors are interceding on our behalf right now.

The Prayer Warriors are our Prayer Partners in heaven.

When one experiences her/his Prayer Warrior, she/he gets a true glimpse of God’s good in heaven.

God’s angels have a special place in heaven and they all have different jobs.

What a miracle it is to know that a being of the angelic realm cares for us; about our needs, with the end result or final word resting with God.

Catholics believe in the power of Intercessory Prayer; praying to a saint, one who has walked the earth before to storm the throne room of heaven on our behalf.

What a comfort it is to know that our requests are being handled with loving care. We also have Prayer Partners on earth!

On Earth

As Prayer Partners on earth, we intercede in prayer for one who has a special need and has asked us to stand with them and pray for them. We also ask others to support with us when we have a prayer need.

Recently, I called upon my “Two Listeners”, a prophetic couple to pray for me. I asked for their intercession and received spiritual words of comfort and truth.

As they sent me this wonderful intercession via a technical avenue, I was able to save the powerful words they sent me. As they were praying for me from a distance, I stood in agreement by placing my hand over my heart; speaking the words over myself, knowing they were praying with me, “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I stand in the midst of them.”

In My Father’s House, there are many mansions and there is a whole lot of praying going on; on earth as it is in Heaven.” Amen!

Who Is It That You Look For? Part 3

PalmTree Logo Pic

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for; the conviction of things not seen.” (Heb. 11:3)

Perhaps your faith has been tested. You are not alone.

Here is the 2nd stanza of the poem: Who Is It That You Look For? Is it I, He?

I felt alone and weary. My body ached and cried.

I did not want to leave you. I didn’t want to die.

In the midst of a darkened hole, upon a stone slab bed;

I was no longer alone, without a place to lay my head.

My father he was with me, listening through it all.

The ground and walls shook hard as I answered ‘your’ call!

The sun rose so high on that Sunday morn’.

My clothes were white and dazzling, not a stitch was torn.

In the sleep I awoke to a brand new me. (DMOL, Patricia A. Zorn, pg. 57)

For Week 2, think about this:

“By faith we understand that the universe was created by God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.” (Heb. 11)

Risen Jesus, in your Gospel we discover such a clear hope. It sustains faith even in situations where there seems no way out.” (Bro. Roger, pg. 16)

Who Is It That You Look For? Part 2

“Are you the one we should be looking for? Or must we wait for someone else?” (Mt. 11:2-3)

When John was in prison, he was aware of Jesus’ ministry. He sent some of his companions to ask Jesus “Are you the one?”

I hope you have settled into your Sacred Space, taking time to ponder the question, “Who Is It That You Look For?”

For Week 2, here are a few suggestions:

Find a comfortable pair of shoes and get ready. Some of the terrain you walk upon might be a bit unstable; don’t lose heart. Unexpected events and the strain of life can wear you down and this will have a long-term effect on the state of one’s Spirit that is unsettled or disturbed.

Remember, there is wonder and joy ahead; even if you have to endure a few trials along the way, it won’t last.

Who Is It That You Look For? Is it I, He?

I trudged the road of destiny through every rock and toil.

I felt my face perspire amidst the sandy soil.

My journey was long and hard, and yet through it all,

I did it for humanity; I did it for you all!

You came upon my burial site, a place that was not my own.

You did not believe in me when I traveled to your home. (DMOL, Patricia A. Zorn, pg. 57)

Maintain your spiritual foundation and your faith. “It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold.” (1Pt. 1:6-8)

Jesus said, “I was condemned because of who I was. I wanted man to see me, but he/she did not have eyes to see or ears to hear.” (DMOL, pg. 17)

Is God Listening?

God, Thank you for not rejecting my prayers!” (Ps. 66)

As we walk together during a most troublesome time on the planet, many are asking this question, “God are you listening?” Yes, God is listening!

Many of you are frightened about what tomorrow will bring. It is important to stay in today. Keep your eye on the task in front of you. As you know, everything is changing in the moment.

There is fear. There is anger and there is prayer. If you find yourself not able to do anything else; take time to hold yourself up to the light everyday, pray and be.

Remember, you are never alone and you will never be abandoned. You have the greatest tool in your possession, the ability to pray. It does not cost anything. It does not weigh anything. You can do this in the silence of your heart.

If you feel timid or alone in your ideals of prayer, start with something simple: “God, please help me”. It is the intent of one’s prayer and not the ritual that is so important now.

Your tools and gifts are needed. Your help in raising the consciousness of man is needed. Your light and love is needed; and most of all your prayers for one another are needed.

Don’t forget, God is Listening!

My Beloved Child of God, Do not be dismayed nor discouraged. It does not matter if you fumble in the process of creating a prayer life with me. My Spirit resides within you and is not limited by anything or anyone.”
